A sudden rain shower changes the planned walk through Corte faster than expected.
Niklas tries to respond calmly and in an organized way to the changing weather. With rain jackets, walking poles and a dry shelter beneath an old stone archway, the situation initially seems completely under control. While Niklas sees the rain as a problem, Nikita experiences the exact same situation in a completely different way. For her, the wet streets, the water and later the small mountain stream gradually become the real highlight of the day. After the rain, the atmosphere of the town changes as well. The streets reflect the returning sunlight, the mountains open up again in the distance and the unexpected weather break slowly turns into a relaxed shared travel day.
Context: Episode 31 “Niklas & Nikita in Corte” is the first episode within the Corsica travel arc to deliberately use weather as a dramatic contrast between the two characters. While Niklas tries to maintain comfort and control, Nikita reacts only to immediate impressions and small moments of joy. This creates a particularly calm and natural combination of atmosphere, weather and character dynamics.
